Most people don't want to or won't deal with a failure of this magnitude. Solution was to temporarily disable the customization by changing autorun value to autorun_old. Unfortunately I cannot find the file rgstrtn.lck in the folder you have specified. Other than that, I am still trying to figure out better workaround. my pc started to restart constantly again but there would be a screen that popped up showing i had a 64% install then restart again. To me this experience has been a very frustrating one, and a disheartening one when it comes to Microsoft, whom I've generally felt is improving its performance in the consumer software

Goodnight. Mac OSX tends to work well with itself and run into numerous bugs interoperating with anything, no anything! I just bought a Windows 8.1 laptop with the same issue. I believe I was doing an update of Windows 8.1 and when I rebooted this is the error I got.
