Register! Is it possible that you are using the Steam version of the game? Then run steam again and the game will work fine from there. There is also a undo feature if you do screw it up. http://dis-lb.net/application-load/application-load-error.php
Your only chance is to disable the auto start in Settings menu, and after the launcher prompt start the game manually. I have the same application load error message, but am running XP. All rights reserved. Ive done the cache verifications and etc. recommended you read

What happened is that the game called Steam to load, but rather than giving me the 0x03 load error, it actually loaded! i tried many other fixes with no luck..and i wasnt actually getting the 'application error load' window popping up. Locate your steam.exe file in c:\Program Files (x86)\Steam Usually here. Skyrim Application Load Error P 0000 Use Launcher (if game has one, like ours) or use steam's client. HOWEVER, there will be an error message that pops up. thanks for the info, this thread should be spread.
