Join Now I've had this error when trying to check for updates on all Yosemite clients for several weeks now and cant determine the cause. I just clicked ok and the app updated. My guess is that App update is pointing to an old location on some computers/ISP's Another option might be: 1. I've seen that fix for iOS device errors with the App Store app, where you might not even be able to mess with DNS. The dock and desktop items show up but the spinning rainbow never ends.
